Hey Jenn and Fletch - Any ideas for your birthdays this year? Let us know.

I am going to plan something for Dad's birthday - just not quite sure what yet. I am thinking the weekend after Dad's birthday which would be Saturday, July 26th. But this is over the 24th of July. What are everyone's plans? The weekend before his birthday, Dad and I will be at our ward's youth conference. We could maybe do something on Monday night, July 21st. I think that might be harder for everyone than the Saturday after. Let me know what you think. Love, Mom

Looks Like Fun!!

Hey Davis's - it looks like you had a great time at Lake Powell. We do have lots of memories when we would take Jennifer, Kim, Alicia, Michael and Kyle. I am sure you are making many memories of your own now. We are looking forward to Flaming Gorge with everyone. It should be lots of fun!!! Lake Powell

Had a great time in Powell. The boat ran fantastic and the weather and water were perfect! Next year let's plan on a family trip! I forget how much fun we had when we were younger--all the memories come back being down there!

Happy Birthday Nicholas. While I was at your house today, I was looking at the pictures of when you were born - WOW! You've come a long way! We love you and think you are adorable! Thanks for the "noodle" dinner! It was fabulous!

Update

Sorry I haven't written in a while -- been pretty busy with baseball and softball. But we are getting down to the last couple of weeks.

We are planning on Saturday for Father's day -- I changed the time to 5, since Fletcher has his camero in a car show that day until 4. Looks like weather should cooperate, so a game of softball should be fun! At least the MVP (Kim) won't be there to kick our booties! Just kiddin' -- we will miss ya Klinkowski's --

We are leaving for Lake Powell next Wednesday -- give the boat a good break-in! We have only had it out a couple of times and we are still getting used to all the gagets!

The bridal shower for Elyse is set for the 12th -- I heard back from Shelley yesterday. I am still working out some details. I will need everyones help with the food!

Family Activities

I think Jennifer e-mailed everyone about Elyse's shower - July 12, probably a brunch from about 11-1. We are waiting to hear back from Shelley or Elyse on who she is inviting. Jenn is trying to get the information. Have you heard anything yet?

For Father's day we are going to get together at our house on Saturday for dinner - I am thinking around 5 pm. I am still deciding on what to have. We then thought we could go over to the school and have a softball game. Kyle and Kristy will be out of town and Kim is coming down the following Thursday so they won't be here. But I hope the Davis's and Cerva's are planning on coming. I will also call Keith, Joy, Tank, and the Lakes.

As I mentioned, Kim and the kids will be down on Thursday (for a nursing conference) and may stay through Saturday. We are working out the details.

We were very proud of Canyon and enjoyed his Baptism on Saturday. Thanks for planning such a good dinner!!

We also had Ian spend Friday night with us for his birthday. It has been fun to spend time with each of you on your birthdays and we look forward to the rest of the year.

We just wanted to thank everyone for coming to Canyon's baptism yesterday. It was so nice to have all your love and support for this event in our family. Thanks for bringing some of the food, and for the gifts you brought to Ian and Canyon. I really enjoyed the day yesterday and am so thankful to have such a great family.
Sorry you couldn't make it Mike & Kristie! We missed you! Thanks for leaving Canyon that nice message on the phone. We can't wait to see you this summer!
